Bravo
An outsider landed in Siargao. To the surprise of the locals as the construction evolved the steel pipes looked more and more familiar and rooted every day. Maybe geometry, maybe colour, maybe the resulting volume and feeling inside them or maybe how they blend in with the island materials.
Bravo is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Bahay Kubo. It puts together the time proven climatic and constructive strategies of the vernacular filipino housing typology, while introducing building technology and facilities of our times.
